I have two Akitas Pistol, Titanium, are home with me and Scarlet, Blaze and River are co owned with friends and are living a great life! The other champions on my page have passed away, or are co owned with special families on very large property which makes them happy! Thanks be to God for he has opened these doors for me to buy two incredible Akitas, and for 15 years of making big changes. I believe I was given this chance to do what I am passionate about which is showing & selective breeding of my Akitas!
I am fortunate to be employed by a company I love! I work in Behavioral Health for a non profit organization. I am a member in good standing with American Kennel Club. My home is located an hour from Beautiful Los Angeles! the house is on a huge double lot and has beautiful fruit trees, wonderful flowers, and a work in progress dog groom room!
Our passion of showing the Akita breed was established in 1995 by myself and my beautiful & talented daughter Santina. After 10 years of dedication to our Akitas and the sport of purebred dogs thank you Santina! with dedication and hard work it has made our Akita champions, winning Best in show specialty, multiple specialty winning, and AKC TOP 20 Akita's in the USA breeder owner handled. My daughter showed Nike to all his wins! Best Puppy In Show Specialty, TOP 20 CH. Masa Mune's Just Do It, A TOP winning Akita puppy in the history of the breed at that time. What an honor!
We started with dogs bred from well-known champion Akita breeders and bloodlines in the USA OBJ, Sondaisa, Samkita, and Touchstone champion lines. Masa Mune Akitas has enjoyed success from our first litter on earning four championships in the litter of eight. Consistently earning top placements at AKC Regional Specialties, and at one of them achieving Best in Show status for our very first bitch! AKC Best in show Specialty Champion Ondine's Day Dream, is a testament to our focus on competitive spirit. We believe that soundness and excellence of type, temperament and beauty must all come together in harmony to capture the unique and lovable spirit that is the true Akita Dog.
Akitas that I breed will have the appropriate health screenings hips, elbows and patella's certified by OFA, eyes certified by CERF, and a championship title or pointed, with a contract and health guarantee. I have trained in Schutzhund, obedience, tracking and personal protection. Our background in dogs from 1995 with my daughter prove we have a serious interest in the world of purebred dogs, which makes our dogs competitive, and us very proud.
